Hi,don't tell this on irc in #e or you are going to get a "RTF ML, the solution is there", "learn to use verbs", ...
Well, i hope it was humor, otherwise i personaly found it a rude way from some devs to react to users (it was in #e, not #edevelop) who wanted to discuss about it.
I know e17 cvs is not ready and no support is given for it, but is irc not a place to discuss about it? And if you haven't got time to discuss about it, why do some waiste their time reacting like this.
E is a very nice piece of software and i realy like it. I am no dev, just a normal user. If it doesn't work, i will not complaine, but if i find a bug i rather like to tell it as soon as possible so that the devs know about it.
Cazze.PS: for the humor part .. humor can be very rude between 2 people if they don't know each other, especially on irc where you can't see facial expressions. And about my english, well i try to do my best, like most devs try to program the way it should be. But no one is perfect and everybody makes mistakes. It is no fun to be treated like shit because of errors you made in a language that is not yours :(
