a trick - but i think i agree with rephorm - a --with options is better.
configure--help isn't meant to be "easy to read" - it's meant to explicitly
provide you with all the things you can turn on/off/override/control that
autofoo can't figure out itself without some help. using cached values implies
you need to generate a cache first with other autofoo.
